What is Text-to-Release? How does it work?

Text-to-Release, available with a Plus+ or Premium subscription, enables tenants with an up-to-date account balance to easily retrieve an unlock code for a lock on their unit. Tenants text UNLOCK to a designated phone number and follow the steps to retrieve their locks unlock code. 

To customize Text-to-Release notifications:

1. Sign in to your DaVinci Lock® account.
2. Click "Automations”, navigate to the "Messages" tab.

3. Select the type of message to be customized- Text to Release Approved or Text to Release Delinquent. 

4. Toggle on or off messaging to be sent to tenants. Turning off one type will automatically turn off the other, however, messaging for each type can be customized independently of the other and the customization process for both is the same. Customizations apply to all facilities within the company account.

5. If toggled on, use the "Customize" field to write messaging that will be sent to tenants. Use the company name, facility name, and insert unlock code options to insert details specific to the tenant. Customizations apply to all facilities within the company account.

6. Preview for accuracy and click "Save Changes".
