If you think one or more of your units are missing in the unit number dropdown when attempting to assign a lock, they might be excluded from the API in your management software. Sometimes this happens because a unit should be made unrentable. In this case, the rentability of the unit should be changed, not the exclude flag. Changing rentability is beyond the scope of this article.
Before doing the following, ensure that you have selected an assigned status while trying to assign a lock and can see the unit number dropdown enabled.

You can easily see if a unit is excluded from the API while looking at the storEDGE unit in question.
If the Excluded From API value is Yes, then you will probably want to change it to No. To do so, go to your facility settings, then Units. From here you will see your unit groups, which may be excluded as a whole. If so, then click edit on the unit group to change. You will want to uncheck the following setting:
Then Save the change.
For an individual unit, the process is similar. Go to the Individual tab in the Units settings screen. Click Edit for the unit you want to change, and follow the same process as above.
In SiteLink Web Edition, click Setup at the top of the window. Click the Units & Tenants tab. Click Modify Units. Select the unit you want to edit, then click Edit Selections. In the window that opens, there will be a checkbox for Exclude from Website. Uncheck this box. Then click OK. You can also select units from the map and Modify Unit in the Unit Status window instead.
