Using the DaVinci Lock® portal, a locks status can be updated to reflect one of the following:
Status |
Description |
Type |
Available | The lock is not currently being used and is available. | Unassigned |
Lost | The lock cannot be found. | Unassigned |
Assigned Overlock | The lock is assigned to a delinquent unit. | Assigned |
Assigned Vacant* | The lock is securing a vacant unit. | Assigned |
Assigned Auction | The lock is assigned to a unit being auctioned. | Assigned |
Returned to Dropbox | The lock is assumed to have been returned to a dropbox or a manager at the facility. | Assigned |
Tenant Using Lock | The lock has been given to a tenant and they are using it. | Assigned |
Damaged | The lock is damaged in some way and cannot be used. | Unassigned |
Unscannable | The lock is unscannable and is not being used. | Unassigned |
On Dropbox | The lock is securing a dropbox. | Assigned |
Assigned Other | The lock is being used in another capacity not listed. | Assigned |
Assigned Vendor | The lock is being used by a vendor. | Assigned |
*When integrated with your facility management software, locks that remain in the "Assigned Vacant" status after the unit has been rented, may trigger duplicate notifications with the lock's unlock code to be sent to tenants. Following rental of a vacant unit, updating the lock's status to "Available" or "Tenant Using Lock" will ensure a duplicate notification is not sent to the tenant.
