There are a number of different ways a tenant can get the unlock code for a unit being secured by a DaVinci Lock at the time of move in.

You can use replacements in email and letter templates that support specific tenants to display the unlock codes there. If you only want to display the unlock code if a lock is on the unit, then you will have to utilize a css trick to introduce a conditional in the template. Here is a simple example:
<p style="display: non[[unit.combination_lock_number]]e;>Unit unlock combination: [[unit.combination_lock_number]]</p>
In this example, the display property will have the value "none" if combination_lock_number is not set in the unit. If it is set, for example to 1234, the display property will have the value "non1234e", which makes no sense to the browser and will result in the p element being displayed.
|To do this, you will have to edit the template's HTML directly by clicking on||in the template editor.|
Since DaVinci Lock stores information into SiteLink that isn't easily retrievable, DaVinci Lock will notify your tenants by text, or by email if they do not have a mobile phone number, with their unlock codes for all their units. This applies to previously delinquent units and also newly rented units. At this time there is nothing you need to do to enable this feature.

You can use replacements in the "Rental Instructions" email and text templates to display the unlock code for a unit in a welcome email or text. Unlike above, there is no current way to conditionally display this as you cannot directly edit the template's HTML.
